Join Us in Spreading Love - Make a Difference Today!
Welcome to our community-driven donation page! We are excited to invite you to be part of a remarkable day of service and beautification in Grand Island. On Sunday, September 17, 2023, the Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity and the Grand Island Welcoming Initiative will come together to put God's love into action.
Our mission is clear - to create a welcoming and beautiful environment for all who enter our wonderful city. With your support, we aim to revitalize two entrances into Grand Island, along 2nd/3rd Street (HWY 30) and along 4th Street between Sycamore and Plum. Your generous donation will provide the materials needed for our dedicated volunteers to come together and make a positive impact on our community.
Your Contribution Matters:
-
🌼 Blossom Builder (Donation: $50) - Spread joy and flowers to the homes along the block.
-
🍂 Landscape Luminary (Donation: $100) - Help provide new mulch for the flower beds.
-
🎨 Color Splash Sponsor (Donation: $250) - Add a fresh coat of paint to the front door of a home.
Beyond the physical transformation, our initiative is about fostering unity, love, and pride in our community. We believe that small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact and showcase the true spirit of Grand Island.
As we approach September 17, let us draw inspiration from John 13:15-17, "I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them." Together, we can be the change we want to see in the world.
